How to make the best decision?

We all face difficult decisions where we feel torn and unsure of the “right” choice. We can go for days torturing ourselves with what to do. Nonviolent Communication offers a new way to approach dilemmas, not by searching for the best option, but by embracing all sides of the inner conflict and the needs beneath them, allowing clarity and direction to emerge naturally.

A simple way to practice this is to first write down the arguments of each side of the dilemma. Then look for the need of each argument. It’s easier to connect to needs than to thoughts or logic. Once you connect to your needs, you can feel what speaks more to you - or a third solution spontaneously comes up.
